Extension Program - Sikkim
Sikkim is a state in northeastern India. Sikkim is the least populous and second smallest among the Indian states. Situated in the Eastern Himalaya, Sikkim is notable for its biodiversity, including alpine and subtropical climates, as well as being a host to Kangchenjunga, the highest peak in India and third highest on Earth.[10] Sikkim's capital and largest city is Gangtok.
Day 1 - Arrive at Bagdogra airport and drive to Gangtok
On arrival at Bagdogra airport, you will be met by our guide who will take you to Gangtok. Check in and overnight at the hotel
Day 2 - Gangtok Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir excursion
After breakfast, drive to an excursion to Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir. The cool water of the lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Return back to Gangtok and overnight at the hotel
Day 3 - Drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. Visit the Jhakri waterfalls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom and Flower Show. Afternoon, enjoy the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Later enjoy the Darjeeling Ropeway ride.
Day 4 - Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast, drive to Bagdogra Airport for a flight home
