Extension - Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, historically known as Ceylon and officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is an island country in South Asia. It lies in the Indian Ocean, southwest of the Bay of Bengal, separated from the Indian peninsula by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait. It shares a maritime border with the Maldives in the southwest and India in the northwest.
Day 1 - Arrive at Colombo, Sri Lanka
Arrive at Colombo. Transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Colombo Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy the city tour or Colombo. Visit the Old Parliament building, residential areas, The Bandarnaike Memorial International Conference Hall, a Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple, Observing the Galle face Green and Fort Bazaar. Shopping is never ending in Colombo. Visit the House of Fashion, Majestic City Shopping Complex, ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique, Barefoot Gallery and Lakmedura Handicraft Center. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 - Colombo to Kandy via Pinnewala
After Breakfast, take a drive to Kandy. Kandy is Sri Lanka's second-largest city. Enroute, visit the Elephant Orphanage in 
Pinnewala which is a popular elephant sanctuary where elephants are raised with love and care. Enjoy the view of feeding the elephants and bathing them in the river nearby. Visit the Kandy Bazaar, Gem Museum and a Lapidary. Enjoy a visit to the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya which were originally the pleasure gardens of the Royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plnts are found in this garden. It is encircled by the Mahaweli River. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Day 4 - Drive from Kandy to Colombo Airport
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Colombo Airport for a flight back home.
