DAY 1, Sunday - Depart for Morocco

DAY 2, Monday - Arrive in Casablanca & Transfer to Rabat
Arrive in Casablanca and transfer to your hotel in Rabat where you have the rest of the day at leisure to explore the capital city of Morocco. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM, followed by a light dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 3:40 PM

DAY 3, Tuesday - Rabat Sightseeing
This morning, take a city tour of Rabat. View the Royal Palace, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the towering 12th century red sandstone Hassan Tower. Visit the ancient ruins of Chellah, a medieval fortified necropolis. Have lunch at a local restaurant, and spend the afternoon at leisure

DAY 4, Wednesday - Wine Tasting en route to Fez
Today, take a tour of a vineyard and learn about wine production in the area. Sample some of their white and red wines, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, depart for the imperial city of Fez. On arrival, check into your hotel. This evening, enjoy a special dinner hosted by a local family and learn about Moroccan culture and traditions*
*Home hosted dinner in Fez may be moved to another day, according to your host's availability.

DAY 5, Thursday - Fez City Tour
Begin the day with a city tour of Fez. Visit the many hidden treasures of the medina that only a Moroccan guide will know. Fez served as the capital of Morocco for more than 400 years and is home to the University of Al Karaouine. It is particularly famous for its tanneries and the Fes el Bali Medina. A short visit to the surrounding leather shops give you the best view of the tanneries. View the Attarine Medersa, Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and visit the Nejjarine Fountains and Museum. Opportunity for shopping for authentic Moroccan carpets. Finally, view the exterior of the Royal Palace and walk through the famed Jewish Quarter of the medina where you will get a chance to walk through one of the few remaining Jewish cemeteries in Morocco

DAY 6, Friday - Medina of Meknes, Volubilis en route to Casablanca
Today, discover the walled city of Meknes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. View the monumental horseshoe-shape Bab Mansour gate, with its priceless mosaics, lavish tiles, and inscriptions. Afterward, visit the well-preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering a unique glimpse into ancient Morocco. View a series of mansions, monuments and olive mills surrounded by remnants of the city's defense walls. The most notable highlights include the preserved Triumphal Arch of Caracalla, a series of mosaics and colorful tiles depicting Roman mythology. The drive then takes you to Casablanca, inspiration for the classic 1942 film

DAY 7, Saturday - Casablanca City Tour, Travel to Marrakesh
Begin the sightseeing tour of Casablanca, including the interior of the Hassan II Mosque* and the beautiful Corniche seaside. Continue on a short drive through the residential areas of Casablanca to the city center to visit the Mohamed V Square and the Habous Quarter. Later, depart Casablanca and head south to Marrakesh. Arrive and check into your hotel with time at leisure
*Hassan II Mosque is subject to unexpected closures for local religious observances. Details will be provided locally by your Tour Manager.

DAY 8, Sunday - Marrakesh City Tour
Take a morning tour of the city. Visit the Saadian Tombs, dating back to the 16th century. Your tour also includes the Koutoubia Minaret, as well as the beautiful Bahia Palace. Finally, end the tour by walking through the medina before arriving at the Djemaa el Fna Square. Spend the afternoon at leisure, or join the optional Cooking Class with Carriage Ride. Participate in a cooking class and learn how to prepare traditional Moroccan tajine and salads, then savor your delicious meal. Take a horse-drawn carriage through Djemaa el Fna Square and the lively streets of Marrakesh

DAY 9, Monday - Full Day in Marrakesh
Arise before dawn to participate in today's optional Hot Air Balloon Ride.* Take off in a hot air balloon as you watch the sunrise. Drift above the beautiful landscape, before returning back to earth to enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Explore the city on your own today or perhaps join the optional tour to Essaouira,* whose medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an excellent example of a fortified North African town. Walk along the city's ramparts just north of Moulay Hassan Square where local artists sell their paintings. Continue on to the Skala de la Ville, which is a fortification built along the cliffs that defended the city from sea attacks. Explore the many souks in the medina, including the spice and jewelry souks. Visit a jewelry shop, renowned for its quality and design. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour manager
